The Urban Task Force Member Rules (subject to change)

Preface:  As a member of the U.T.F. our main rule is to have fun and enjoy the experience you get in online gaming. There can be many variations in how others may interpret fun so a basic set of rules are setup in order that we, as a group, can maintain a balance and continue to build great long lasting relationships.

Registering on our site: Registering with our site will give you forum access. This does not make you a U.T.F. member.  If you would like to join as an official member all we ask is that you please fill out the Join The U.T.F. form located in the Navigation box at the upper left portion of our main website.  If you have any questions feel free to email us at admin@urbantaskforce.net.

Age Requirements: There are no age requirements, however, we do have a fine line on who we let in and who we turn away based on age and conduct.  If you intend to join and act exceedingly imature, you will be kicked and possibly banned.

Squad Tags: As a member of the U.T.F. we ask that you where your [UTF] Tags with pride on TS/VENTRILLO channels, as well as in Gaming Servers.  Not doing so can send mixed messages to the group.

Trial Period: Upon review from an admin, your account will be changed to include the [UTF] tag on our site.  You may also notice a status of "Trial Member" below your name when becoming a member.  This is a basic period of 1-2 weeks.  If all goes well, the status goes away and you gain full access benefits.

Membership Dues: We do not enforce any donations for membership.  We are a player supported group and at times we may ask for small donations to help with site, teamspeak, and gaming server costs.  Every little bit helps and without the gamers supporting the clan, we wouldn't be here today.  Some members may have goals like $60.00 a year or $5.00/mth.  Just donate as you feel led.  The funds will be much appreciated, but we understand if you are unable to help contribute.

Cheating/Hacking/Glitching: These can be interpreted differently, however, we treat them both the same. Anyone in question of either of these will be confronted, and if there is any proof leading to you doing any of these you will not only be kicked from the group, but you wil be completely banned from our site. Leave hacking and cheating to other squads and players so that we can continue to maintain a good standing in the gaming community.

Multi-Clanning: The U.T.F. is all about building good relationships while gaming together.  Being in more than one clan reduces that effort and isn't fair to other U.T.F. members so we ask that you discuss your situation with the admins when considering joining.  In some cases this could be acceptable based on the circumstances, (i.e. you are in a group that plays other games).

Inactivity/Termination: We understand that many times life can dictate when you can and cannot game, so if we sense a lack in activity with the group we may throw you an email to see how you're doing and if you are still wanting to be a member.  Gaming and/or regular forum activity will help us know that you're ok and still around in the UTF community.  Failure to show any activity for a reasonable period of time (~60 days) may be followed up with a Forum status change to Inactive Member, then ultimately your member access may be removed altogether.  This is to help us maintain an active roster.

Conduct: We are all about building and maintaining good online relationships with each other so we ask that you please be respectful to others. When on Teamspeak your conduct becomes who you are and if there are issues or concerns the word will get around and we do not want to see folks talking behind others backs complaining, spreading rumors, etc. We want to relax, wind down, and enjoy fun gaming.
